Creating the Background for a Fictional Character. "Priscilla and the Wimps" is a great story in that in very few pages and with very characters—one-dimensional characters at that—it conveys an engaging episode to which most readers can probably relate. Read some great tips on creating fictional characters at EditAvenue.com. Scroll down to the subhead: Character and Plot, and read the first two paragraphs under that subhead. Complete the exercise described at the end of the second paragraph. Write a page or two on the background that you formulate for your chosen character.
